Tip 1: Reward and Praise
Training a dog or other animal isn't that different from raising a child: you have to communicate, and you have to offer lots
of praise. It doesn't hurt to always be ready with a small piece of your pet's favorite treat, either.
Tip 2: Crate and Potty
When you are not home and you keep them inside you must crate them. This is their den. They feel safe
and will not get in to things when you are gone. Take them to potty before letting them loose and crating them up.
Little ones must potty every 2 hours and after 1 year old every 4 hours.
